About
MARADOCA is a Leipzig DJ playing progressive house and melodic techno with tribal and world influences. Her sets move from groovy, atmospheric warm-ups through hypnotic, world-inspired passages to driving techno peaks. By day that often means afro house; by night, what she calls Soultechno: intense, melodic techno with an emotional core.
Electronic music caught her in 2013, at Charles Bronson in Halle and her first Fusion Festival. Nearly ten years later she went to music school and learned to DJ. Since then she has played Institut für Zukunft, Mahagoni Festival, Elipamanoke and Westhafen in Leipzig, Sektor Evolution in Dresden and Charles Bronson in Halle, and abroad in Mallorca, Portugal, Sardinia and Argentina.
She is part of the Artgenossenschaft, an art and music collective from Leipzig and Dresden, and has a soft spot for closing sets. For her, music is a way to connect: with the moment and with each other.
